The ReNew the Earth Institute is conveniently located just off Hwy 10, 7 miles east of Hwy 39, providing easy access to Appleton (1 1/2 hours), Chicago (4 hours), Milwaukee (3 1/2 hours), and Minneapolis-St. Paul (4 hours).

RAILWAY TRANSPORTATION
Amtrak Railroad comes as close as Portage, WI (about a 2 hour trip from Custer). They also provide a motorcoach from Milwaukee to Wausau. For more information call 800-USA-RAIL or see their web site at www.amtrak.com.
AREA ACCOMMODATIONS:
Lodging at the apartment of the ReNew the Earth Institute may be available during weekend workshops (not the Energy Fair). Fee is $20/person/night and comes with a futon, sheets, blankets, pillows, and towels and includes the use of the kitchen and bathroom. Call the MREA office to register.
