Division of State Facilities Renewable Energy Systems

Request for Renewable Energy Demonstration Grant Project Proposals 2010

The State of Wisconsin Department of Administration (DOA) Division of State Facilities (DSF) requests applications for projects that demonstrate and promote the development of renewable energy resources in the State of Wisconsin. All agencies including the University of Wisconsin are invited to apply for demonstration renewable energy projects.

The DSF will consider projects for Demonstration and Development that will directly involve the energy-related operations of the institution by addressing clean energy production. Demonstration and development projects include wind turbine and/or photovoltaic power systems.

Nothing in this grant precludes the agency from requesting other projects that include energy efficiencies or renewables as part of the building program of all agency, small projects and major projects.

William Hurrle Scholarship Program

The William Hurrle Scholarship Program was created to recognize and honor the contributions that Bill Hurrle has made to the building performance and renewable energy industry. The scholarship is designed for a post-secondary education student or a new trade contractor entering the industry of building performance; or a trade contractor who has made the commitment to use a whole building approach to buildings. The scholarship will cover the cost of the registration fee and one night of lodging for the Better Buildings: Better Business Conference on March 3-5, 2010 at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells.
