Wisconsin Solar Tour & Demonstration SitesThe Wisconsin Solar Tour is held each fall (usually the first weekend in October), to demonstrate that renewable energy is practical, reliable and affordable in today's economy. Tour sites are owned, lived in, and worked in by ordinary people. They are helping others open the door to renewable energy. Although it is officially called the Wisconsin Solar Tour, sites include all sorts of renewable energy technologies and other innovative features. On the WI Solar Tour you can see:
While the 2007 Solar Tour has ended, certain sites around Wisconsin remain available as Year Round Demonstration Sites. Look below for a list of Year Round Demonstration Sites near you.
We have divided the state into 5 different regions. See the map at right to find sites near you.
The Wisconsin Solar Tour is part of the National Solar Tour, coordinated by the American Solar Energy Society.
